[Saba Sports News] Two more NBA All-Star guards are on the move amid the chaos of the Luka Doncic trade.
The Sacramento Kings are finalizing a deal to send De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs, where he’ll team up with Victor Wembanyama. In return, the Kings will receive All-Star Zach LaVine and forward Sidy Cissoko as part of a three-team trade involving the Chicago Bulls.
Sacramento is also set to acquire a major draft haul, landing three first-round picks and three second-round picks in the exchange. Meanwhile, the Bulls’ return package includes Zach Collins, Kevin Huerter, Tre Jones, and their own 2025 first-round pick, signaling their intent to hit the reset button.
Unlike the Doncic blockbuster, Fox’s trade wasn’t entirely unexpected—reports surfaced earlier this week that Sacramento was open to moving the speedy guard, with San Antonio rumored to be his preferred destination.
Fox, 27, is under contract through the 2025-26 season, and the Spurs are likely to negotiate an extension sooner rather than later. His electrifying playstyle should complement Wembanyama well, as he’s averaging 25.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.1 assists across 45 games this season.
