[Saba Sports News] Recently, Red Bull Racing’s current Technical Director, Pierre Wache, discussed the team’s outlook for the upcoming season during a media interview. He mentioned that compared to two rival teams, Red Bull’s additional wind tunnel running time could be a “potential huge advantage,” and the team will focus on this advantage. Pierre stated, “If we have the opportunity to fight for the championship in 2025, I think we will, because you never actively throw away a championship. But if we don’t have a good start, I think we will make some adjustments, and that will definitely be a tough decision.” The implication is that if Red Bull has a poor start to the new season, the team may strategically give up on the Constructors’ Championship and focus entirely on preparing for the 2026 season, as there will be significant regulatory changes in F1 in 2026, including power units and car chassis, making wind tunnel usage more critical than in previous seasons.
