[Saba Sports News] Two former Warriors teammates shared a hilarious moment during Sunday’s matchup between Golden State and the Dallas Mavericks.
Mavericks guard Klay Thompson picked up a technical foul in the second quarter for arguing a non-call, and Draymond Green couldn’t have been happier about it.
Green, Thompson’s longtime running mate in Golden State, was caught enthusiastically celebrating the call, even shouting “yes!” in Thompson’s direction. His trolling got so relentless that Kyrie Irving had to step in and guide him away.
Green, of course, is no stranger to technical fouls himself, even if he’d love to shake that reputation. Watching the usually composed Thompson get T’d up was clearly a highlight for him.
While Thompson isn’t entirely immune to outbursts, emotions were likely running higher than usual as he faced his former team. Still, there’s no bad blood between him and Green—just classic Draymond antics.
Green has never been one to take it easy on friends once they become opponents, and Thompson was just the latest target in his never-ending quest to stir the pot.
