[Saba Sports News] Cadillac F1 Team CEO Dan Towriss recently spoke in an interview about the future lineup of the team, stating that they have not yet found a suitable young American driver. He emphasized that they will not hastily choose an American driver just to fulfill this desire; instead, Cadillac F1 will cultivate and select drivers in the “right way” to ensure they have the ability to succeed in F1. Cadillac F1 was established with the support of its parent company General Motors and the American group TWG Global, planning to join F1 starting in 2026. With the new regulations coming into effect in 2026, Cadillac is actively preparing, and determining the driver lineup is one of the key steps. Currently, IndyCar star Colton Hertha is considered one of the main candidates for Cadillac F1. Hertha had previously tested with the McLaren team in 2022 and left a strong impression.
