[Saba Sports News] Last year, Alexander Isak, who plays for Premier League club Newcastle United, experienced a burglary at his home in Birmingham, losing a substantial amount of jewelry and cash. Following this, Isak reported the incident to local police, and after several days of investigation, three men were arrested on suspicion of theft and will face trial. Recently, there has been an update on the case: during a court hearing, Isak attended to provide a statement, confirming he lost £10,000 in cash and approximately £68,000 in jewelry. Isak described to the court that he confirmed all doors and windows were locked when he left home but found that a trash bin originally placed by the door was moved to the front yard and a glass door was smashed, with personal belongings scattered everywhere upon his return. This indicates that the burglars may have used violent means to enter the residence. It is noted that this incident serves as a reminder for individuals to enhance their self-protection awareness in daily life, such as installing security doors and windows, surveillance cameras, and regularly checking and maintaining the safety of their homes. Although these measures cannot completely prevent burglaries, they can significantly reduce the risk of theft.
