[Saba Sports News] Austin Reaves added a personal touch to Wednesday night’s Lakers game — and it had nothing to do with the box score.
During L.A.’s 120-119 win over the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Reaves not only dropped 24 points and dished out five assists in 36 minutes — he also took part in a family baby gender reveal right on the court.
Reaves wore custom white sneakers accented with pink trim and laces, signaling that his brother Spencer is expecting a baby girl. The subtle but meaningful reveal didn’t go unnoticed — especially by Spencer, who reacted to the gesture on social media.
“Appreciate you! We didn’t know Austin would be so pumped to do this. He’s known for weeks,” Spencer Reaves posted on X. “Maybe he got Luka on board as well with his shoes tonight,” he added, referring to Luka Dončić, who has also been spotted rocking pink kicks.
It was a fun and wholesome moment from Reaves — and with the Lakers pulling out the win, the reveal felt like a slam dunk all around.
