[Saba Sports News] After winning the 2025 Swiss Badminton Open Championship, Chinese player Weng Hongyang has collected all the titles of the Badminton World Federation Super100, 300, 500, 750, and 1000 levels, becoming the first player in history to complete all levels of men’s singles championships. Before winning the Swiss Championship, Weng Hongyang had won five World Badminton Tour Championships, namely the 2019 China Lingshui Badminton Masters at the Super100 level, the 2022 Korea Open and 2023 Australian Open at the Super500 level, the 2023 Denmark Open at the Super750 level, and the 2024 China Open at the Super1000 level. This year’s Swiss Open is Weng Hongyang’s 7th participation in the Super300 level, and in the previous six times, he had never been able to break into the top 8. Because the Swiss Open is held one week after the All England Badminton Open, several famous players chose to withdraw, and Weng Hongyang seized the opportunity to win the championship. So far, Weng Hongyang has achieved the “Grand Slam” of the Badminton World Tour Championship limited edition.
