[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano Stadium has not only become an important source of revenue for the team but also one of the most important concert venues in Spain. This week, it was confirmed that Aitana Ocana will hold two concerts here on July 30th and 31st, which were originally planned for the Bernabeu Stadium. A few weeks ago, Lola Indigo made the same decision, moving her concert from the Bernabeu to the Wanda Metropolitano. As a result, after the season ends, the Wanda Metropolitano has already scheduled 13 concerts. Although the stadium already has its own event schedule, the Bernabeu can no longer host large concerts due to noise issues, making the Wanda Metropolitano’s schedule even richer. More than 2.3 million people have flocked to the Wanda Metropolitano, providing significant economic support for the club. Although the exact figures are hard to estimate, Atletico Madrid has earned considerable revenue through stadium rentals, ticket sales, and catering services. In addition to concerts, dozens of other events are held here (graduations, company parties, Madrid Ice Rink, etc.), with non-football activities generating more than 15% of total revenue. These activities not only bring economic benefits but also enhance Atletico Madrid’s global brand influence.
