[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, David Beckham will host his first TV talk show, with the goal of becoming the next Gary Winston Lineker. The former England captain will host the program “Beckham and Friends” on Paramount+. Potential guests include his friends Gordon Ramsay, Tom Cruise, and Ryan Reynolds. UK and US audiences will see Beckham chat with these stars over wine and during Champions League matches. The first two episodes will be broadcast live from London on May 6 and 7, covering the Champions League semi-finals between Inter vs Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain vs Arsenal. At age 49, Beckham will then fly to Germany to watch the final at Allianz Arena in Munich on May 31, but he remains silent about who might join him. Beckham told CBS Golazo sports network in the US: “I am really looking forward to drinking a few glasses of wine with some friends, watching the game, and having pleasant conversations.” It is understood that Beckham may succeed Lineker, who is stepping down as host of “Match of the Day,” to become the most popular football commentator in the UK.
