[Saba Sports News] According to Indonesian media reports, two-time badminton world champion pair Hendra Setiawan and Muhammad Ahsan, after retiring from professional play, have ventured into business. On May 1st, the “Dad’s Court” jointly owned by Ahsan and Setiawan officially opened, with very affordable prices for court rentals. It is understood that this legendary pair opened a badminton venue named “Daddies Arena” in South Tangerang, Indonesia. This sports facility, covering an area of 5,000 square meters, not only has eight professional badminton courts but also includes gyms and sauna rooms. The fee for weekdays from 07:00-16:00 is set at 80,000 Indonesian rupiah per hour; while during weekdays from 16:00-23:00 and all day on weekends and holidays, the fee increases to 100,000 Indonesian rupiah per hour. These legendary players known as the “Dad Pair” revealed that they plan to open a badminton academy within the venue in the future, aiming to contribute to the development of Indonesian badminton. However, currently, their priority is to build brand recognition before advancing with academy construction.
