[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, Barcelona’s club revenue has reached €950 million this season, surpassing expectations of €893 million set just eight months ago. Barcelona’s General Assembly approved an income budget of €893 million at the start of the season, and Club President Joan Laporta recently stated in an interview: “We will achieve €950 million in revenue, and next season’s budget will exceed €1 billion.” Laporta did not specify where the additional €57 million came from, but it is worth noting that Barcelona has sold the commercial rights to 475 VIP seats at the Spotify Camp Nou for a total value of €100 million this season. Much of the revenue growth can be attributed to Barcelona’s performance in the UEFA Champions League, where they advanced to the semifinals, far exceeding initial expectations that only accounted for reaching the quarterfinals. Looking forward to next season, Barcelona predicts that their budget will break through €1 billion when they return to the Camp Nou and reopen VIP suites in January 2026, setting a new club record for highest revenue.
