[Saba Sports News] With the conclusion of the promotion playoff match in the Eredivisie finals, Ter Horst successfully defeated its opponent to regain its place in the Eredivisie, marking an important day as they return to the top tier after 47 years. Notably, Ter Horst was founded in 1963, almost simultaneously with the first communication satellite Telstar 1. The team was named after the Telstar (Electric Star) satellite launched by the U.S. at the time, rather than using a regional name or corporate name. In my view, Ter Horst’s return to the Eredivisie after 47 years is worth celebrating, showcasing the strength and efforts of the club. This is a recognition of the club’s long-term efforts. After facing various issues such as economic difficulties, poor management, and weak youth development, through comprehensive reconstruction plans and meticulous planning and execution in youth training systems and signings, the team gradually improved its strength and finally returned to the Eredivisie, proving that the club has the ability to compete at the top level.
