[Saba Sports News] Despite McLaren winning seven out of ten races in this F1 season and steadily moving toward a long-awaited drivers’ and constructors’ championship, four-time F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel has stated that the team hasn’t shown real dominance, and Red Bull remains a hidden threat. Vettel believes that although McLaren’s MCL39 car is performing well, as long as Max Verstappen is still in the race, Red Bull remains an unavoidable threat. Although the RB21 car lacks balance and tire management, Verstappen still managed to win two races and currently ranks third in the drivers’ standings, just 43 points behind McLaren driver Oscar Piastri. Regarding Red Bull’s future after 2026, Vettel gave a positive outlook. Despite the departure of legendary designer Adrian Newey, Vettel believes Red Bull still has the capability to build a top-tier car, as it has infrastructure and talent. Although personnel changes may cause some fluctuations, their foundation remains strong.
