[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, the Premier League will film and broadcast team training sessions in the upcoming season, with both coaches and players wearing microphones and cameras. Starting from the 2025-26 season, selected training sessions of Premier League teams will be streamed live. Reports indicate that clubs have approved the use of bodycams for players during warm-ups and as they enter the pitch, footage of locker room interiors, interviews with players, coaches, or officials at halftime, and conversations with substituted players. Currently, broadcasting partners are allowed access to training grounds approximately once a month, but only for news reporting and program production purposes. However, following revisions to the Premier League’s “Rule Part K,” each club must now allow the Premier League’s production partner to capture a 30-minute “enhanced training session,” with at least one player and either the head coach or an assistant coach wearing audio equipment. Additionally, clubs must submit a list of five players—selected from recent starting lineups—for the Premier League’s choice, and those players may be required to wear bodycams after giving their consent.
