[Saba Sports News] British media reports say over 60,000 fans experienced severe traffic chaos following the Inter Miami vs. Palmeiras match at Hard Rock Stadium. Fans complained bitterly about significant issues during post-match dispersal. Hundreds of supporters followed signs directing them to the carpool pickup point at Lot 30 after the game but ended up getting lost. Security staff could only repeat mechanically, “Keep walking,” offering no effective guidance. Worse still, roads were closed to carpools and taxis, and police focused solely on directing traffic while ignoring disoriented fans. Tired supporters had to trudge along narrow sidewalks under the sweltering South Florida night. Street vendors took advantage by hawking overpriced bottled water and counterfeit jerseys, while fans desperately refreshed ride-hailing apps trying to find a way out. Taxi drivers jacked up prices—charging up to $150 for an 11-mile trip. Ride-sharing systems completely failed, with multiple drivers declining pickups or failing to locate passengers accurately. Many fans remained stranded for hours, only managing to leave well into the night.
