[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-Min is considering leaving the club this summer, but it is unlikely he will join Major League Soccer (MLS) at this stage. The report said that LAFC hopes to replace Olivier Giroud, who has joined Lille, with Son Heung-Min. However, the possibility of Son joining MLS is low, meaning that LAFC may have to wait until January next year or even longer. At the age of nearly 33, Son is considering ending his 10-year career at Tottenham, especially after winning the Europa League. His contract with Tottenham has one year remaining, with a weekly wage of £200,000. Son is expected to return to the club next week for a medical check-up and to have a face-to-face meeting with new head coach Thomas Frank. Additionally, clubs in the Saudi Pro League and Turkish club Fenerbahce have shown interest in Son. However, considering his huge commercial value in South Korea, it is expected that Tottenham will not easily let him go. Especially since they will travel to Seoul in early August to play a friendly match against Newcastle.
