[Saba Sports News] After the British Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton gave a rare and harsh criticism of his Ferrari SF-25 car. He stated publicly that it was the hardest car he had ever driven on the Silverstone circuit and hoped to see significant improvements next year. During the race, Hamilton fought hard for a podium finish but ended up in fourth place, failing to overtake Nico Hulkenberg. He completed the race under complex weather conditions and complained in the radio that the car was too sensitive—though not in a positive way. Evidently, the SF-25 couldn’t provide stable performance for the seven-time F1 champion in unpredictable weather. In response to Hamilton’s criticism, Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur joked during the press conference, saying, “I think Max Verstappen had similar complaints during the race.” He said he hadn’t yet discussed the issue with Hamilton, but admitted, “What he said in the radio isn’t accurate from the car’s performance standpoint.” Vasseur also pointed out that the car’s performance varied greatly in different stages, especially under the influence of tire pressure and changes in race pace. He emphasized that vehicle stability is particularly crucial, which is why McLaren’s cars have been able to maintain their lead throughout the race.
