[Saba Sports News] Former Minister of Finance of Malaysia and current party representative Tengku Zafrul recently spoke about the current level of badminton in Malaysia. He stated that Malaysia’s badminton strength is still some distance away from the world’s top nations, so it is urgent to develop a plan to improve the level of badminton. He will announce the Malaysia Badminton Improvement Plan at the end of this month to help elevate the performance of its athletes. The plan aims to provide systematic support and resources for athletes, including tailored training programs for certain players to help them achieve good results in competitions. It will also focus on mental well-being. The editor believes that there are many strong teams in the badminton world, such as China, Indonesia, and Japan. Even with support, Malaysia will face challenges from these traditional powerhouses in major events, especially the Olympics. To remain competitive, Malaysia must constantly enhance its strength and adapt to various competitive scenarios.
