[Saba Sports News] Recently, the Carrington Training Centre of Premier League club Manchester United welcomed a high-profile visitor – Ivica Zubac, a player for the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers. Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes and the club’s management received him. He toured the newly renovated training facilities and was presented with a 2025/26 season jersey from Manchester United. During the visit, he had in-depth discussions with Manchester United players about the challenges faced by professional athletes, the unique aspects of their respective sports, pre-season preparation, and scheduling. This visit comes at a time when the NBA is planning to hold games in Europe, with one match set to take place in Manchester’s Co-op Live in 2027. Zubac’s visit may be part of a broader effort between the NBA and European football clubs to foster future business collaborations and event partnerships, such as joint events or co-branded products.
