[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, a court in Ceara, Brazil, recently issued a restraining order against footballer David Luiz. The reason is that he was accused by a woman of sending threatening messages, causing her to fear for her safety. Currently, David Luiz’s side has not formally responded, only stating that legal measures have been taken. The woman, named Carlo Cavalcante, claims that during David Luiz’s time at Brazilian club Fortaleza, the two had an extramarital affair. She submitted relevant evidence to the court, including threatening messages from David Luiz. One message read: “I can make you disappear completely. I have people who know where you are right now. And I won’t be affected at all, so delete the messages.” The court approved her application in less than 24 hours after the report, ordering David Luiz not to approach her. Carlo Cavalcante expressed great concern for her personal safety. David Luiz just joined Cyprus club Pafos this summer. Currently, his team stated that they would not publicly respond to the matter for now but are “taking all necessary legal measures.”
