[Saba Sports News] The Dutch Grand Prix has concluded, and the race results have left Ferrari fans suffering another sleepless night. Lewis Hamilton’s confidence was dealt another heavy blow in this race. On lap 23, a small mistake from Hamilton caused him to lose control and crash into the wall, abruptly ending his Dutch GP. His teammate Charles Leclerc was also affected. Leclerc had his accumulated advantage wiped out when the Safety Car was deployed shortly after his pit stop, triggered by Hamilton’s crash. Even though Leclerc later made a strong overtake on Russell, unfortunately, during wheel-to-wheel combat with Andrea Kimi Antonelli through a corner, he was hit by the latter and crashed into the wall. Both Ferrari cars DNF’d (Did Not Finish) on lap 53, creating another notable scene. Hamilton was penalized with a 5-place grid drop for the next Italian Grand Prix at Monza for failing to slow sufficiently under double yellow flags during the formation lap before the Dutch GP race start. This is undoubtedly adding insult to injury for both Hamilton and Ferrari. The confidence within the entire Ferrari team must be low. From Leclerc’s painful missed podium at the Hungarian GP before the summer break to the double DNF at this race, Ferrari’s confidence and morale have been hit hard repeatedly. Especially for the newly arrived Hamilton, this is a tremendous ordeal. It will undoubtedly be very difficult for Ferrari to climb out of this trough!
