[Saba Sports News] According to French media reports, Paris Saint-Germain is very dissatisfied with the French Football Federation (FFF), as they had warned beforehand that Ousmane Dembele should not have played. In a recent World Cup qualifier, France defeated Ukraine 2-0. During the match, two Paris Saint-Germain players, Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele, were injured and substituted. Doue suffered a calf injury in the first half and limped off the field, while Dembele came on as a substitute at halftime but was forced off due to injury in the 80th minute. Dembele had injured his left hamstring in last weekend’s Ligue 1 match, and this time it was his right thigh. Paris Saint-Germain is very unhappy about Dembele‘s participation and subsequent injury, as they had informed the national team’s medical staff before this assembly that Dembele should not play. Considering his previous injury and fatigue, PSG believed he was at high risk of getting injured again. However, the French national team disregarded this, leading to Dembele‘s injury after he played. After the match, PSG’s senior officials were furious, believing their reasonable opinion was ignored by the FFF. The rules stipulate that once a player is called up by the national team, they must report for duty. Even if Dembele was already injured in the previous league match, he still had to go to the national team for assessment by the French medical staff.
