[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, rumors about Adriano Galliani potentially returning to AC Milan’s management are heating up again during the international break because an important event is about to be finalized: Monza is nearing a complete ownership change. It is expected that next week, Monza Club will be officially transferred from the Berlusconi family’s holding company, Fininvest, to the American fund Beckett Layne Ventures. Contacts between AC Milan’s current owners and Galliani have long been known, and a preliminary consensus has been reached regarding his return to Milan in a role. There, Galliani would find a group of people who greatly appreciate him and are willing to work with him. For Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Massimiliano Allegri, this would even be a reunion, as it was Galliani himself who brought them in during the summer of 2010, and they helped AC Milan win their 18th Serie A title. It is reported that Galliani currently still prioritizes Monza affairs. During this critical phase, he will remain at Monza until the transaction is completed. If the deal falls through, he will continue to serve as Monza’s CEO. Although Galliani has reached a basic agreement with RedBird (AC Milan’s owners), Monza must completely break away from the Berlusconi family’s control before the agreement is finalized and his new role at AC Milan is announced. Only after that will Galliani leave Monza.
