[Saba Sports News] In the quarterfinals of the 2025 China Badminton Masters, Chen Yufei lost 1–2 to Han Yue, missing out on the semifinals. During the decisive game, despite trailing 13–17 in the latter stage, Chen fought hard until the end. Unfortunately, a misjudgment during the match ultimately prevented a comeback, resulting in a loss of 20–22, 21–13, 19–21. In a worrying moment, Chen suddenly requested a medical timeout. Regarding this, Chen stated: “I slipped during the first two starts, so I wanted to get checked. In terms of movement, I’ve recovered quite well, but psychologically, I’m still a bit worried and scared. However, as I moved more, I felt better, and the mental issues will gradually adjust.” Speaking about competing while injured, Chen admitted it went better than expected: “When I arrived here, I wasn’t sure how I’d perform or even if I could play. These three matches have confirmed my recovery progress. But many problems were exposed on the court, and I need to thoroughly review them.”
