[Saba Sports News] Red Bull driver Yuki Tsunoda finished ninth and eleventh in the two Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix practice sessions, respectively. However, the Japanese driver was frustrated that his practice program in the second session (FP2) was disrupted by two red flags caused by incidents involving George Russell and Liam Lawson. Yuki Tsunoda stated: “It’s been a messy day for everyone, with a couple of stoppages on track, especially in FP2, and on a track like Singapore where you need to build confidence, it’s not ideal. We really need the time to build up driver confidence and get the car balance closer to ideal. The timing for the first lap on new tyres is tricky, so the analysis tonight will focus on that. We are very short on long-run data, so maybe we will think about adjusting the FP3 program to gather more data before Sunday’s race because, at the moment, it’s hard to judge if it’s a one-stop or two-stop race, and it’s hard to decide which tyre compound will be more feasible. That’s the trend with FP2; it never runs smoothly, which is really annoying me.”
