[Saba Sports News] A so-called “special edition jersey for El Clasico” circulating on social media recently has attracted widespread attention. Many fans and specialized jersey websites believed Barcelona would debut this new design in their away match against Real Madrid on October 26. However, according to internal club sources, Barcelona will not use this jersey at the Bernabeu. Previously, the well-known website FootyHeadlines repeatedly exposed this special jersey dubbed “El Clasico.” Its design breaks from the traditional red and blue stripes, featuring irregular lines and incorporating sky-blue elements into the blue-red color scheme, with the Nike “swoosh” and club crest in yellow. But Barcelona has explicitly denied using this design for the derby. It is reported that Barcelona’s only special element for the match will be the chest advertisement. Following the collaboration practice with Spotify, the team will replace the corporate logo with a special artist’s logo. For this season’s El Clasico, the jersey will feature the exclusive logo of British singer Ed Sheeran. This marks the seventh special customization under this collaboration, following previous features with Drake, Rosalía, The Rolling Stones, Karol G, Coldplay, and Travis Scott.
