[Saba Sports News] During the F1 United States Grand Prix, Haas driver Oliver Bearman locked up and spun while attempting to overtake Yuki Tsunoda. Bearman blamed Tsunoda for moving in the braking zone after the race, but the latter held a different opinion. Yuki Tsunoda defended his actions: “I have to check the situation from his onboard view, but obviously, it’s unfortunate we ended the race like that. We were having a fierce battle; it was quite exciting until then, just unfortunate it ended like that. But in my view, I don’t think I made any particularly serious mistake. That’s it.” Tsunoda later added in an interview: “I don’t feel I moved under braking. It’s a bit unfortunate he ended up like that, especially since we were having a great battle. So, that’s it.” The Japanese driver also commented on Bearman’s criticism (who had a tough weekend) regarding his move at Turn 1 during the Sprint race: “That’s racing, right? I was fully in control, had no lock-up, and we were side-by-side. I’m not his teammate; I was fighting for points, maybe top ten or better, so I think that move was okay.”
