[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, after Manchester United’s away victory over Liverpool, the team experienced what can be described as a “media marathon.” Excluding manager Ruben Amorim’s post-match press conference, Manchester United conducted no fewer than 38 separate interviews for various broadcast rights holders at Anfield, setting a new club record for the number of post-match interviews in a single Premier League game. A large number of players participated in this extensive media effort, including goal scorers Harry Maguire, Matheus Cunha, Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, Matthijs de Ligt, and Bryan Mbeumo. Goalkeeper Senne Lammens handled questions from written media in the mixed zone. The report noted that many of the players who gave interviews typically face the media even after losses, so there was a sense within the club that they “deserved the opportunity to be in the spotlight” after such a significant victory. However, the intensive interview schedule left the players physically and mentally exhausted upon their return to Manchester. What do Manchester United fans think about this?
