[Saba Sports News] British media report that Manchester United has always considered its relationship with fans as core to the club’s identity, with fan engagement being a vital part of the matchday culture. Maintaining this connection with supporters is particularly important for United as the team balances high expectations with a demanding schedule. Fans highly value photos and autographs with players, seeing them as a symbol of connection to the club. In this context, United’s management and staff have begun implementing a structured approach to ensure players engage with fans without disrupting pre-match preparations. Recently crowned Premier League Manager of the Month, Ruben Amorim, has introduced new measures to ensure United players fulfill their duties to supporters. Noticing some players began neglecting fans, Amorim established a clear rule: before each match, half of the players must sign autographs for fans. Previously, most players only fulfilled this obligation when entering the pitch, which frustrated fans who missed interaction opportunities. The Portuguese coach leads by example, often staying after matches for photos with fans. His charisma and approachability also extend beyond match days, influencing United’s conduct in other commercial and public events.
