[Saba Sports News] Regarding the double DNF incident of the Ferrari team at the Brazilian Grand Prix, tensions within the team are rapidly escalating. After Ferrari Chairman John Elkann publicly pointed out that drivers should “talk less and drive more,” former F1 driver Robert Doornbos expressed similar views. Doornbos didn’t shy away from his stance in comments, directly stating that Hamilton’s performance fell far below expectations. Doornbos said Ferrari pays Hamilton a high salary every weekend, but he hasn’t delivered corresponding results. He admitted that Hamilton publicly calling his season at Ferrari a nightmare has fueled speculation about internal team tensions, and Ferrari management is clearly dissatisfied, which has caused evident conflicts within the team. For the Ferrari team, current pressure comes not only from on-track performance but also from the growing gap between internal expectations and reality. With significant changes brought by new technical regulations, both Hamilton and Ferrari face a critical point where they must prove themselves. As Doornbos stated, if Hamilton can beat Charles Leclerc next year, he might still have a chance to win back Italian fans’ hearts; but before that, the seven-time champion needs to deliver more convincing performances to respond to doubts.
