[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, to protest against the club’s owners, Leicester City fans staged a walkout during the match against West Brom, resulting in half of the seats at the home ground being empty. In this match, Leicester City ultimately won 2-1. The club is facing the possibility of spending another season in the Championship, rather than immediately returning to the Premier League. A group of fans calling for the sale of the club issued a statement saying, ‘An increasing number of fans believe the club is poorly managed, and supporters’ concerns are being ignored. Meaningful change only occurs when pressure becomes undeniable. Attendance is seen as a given rather than a sign of confidence; it concerns standards, accountability, and Leicester City’s long-term stability.’ Some fans expressed their dissatisfaction on social media, stating they would voice their discontent by skipping matches. One fan commented, ‘I will boycott tonight’s game; it won’t be the last time I do this. Since the mid-90s, I have supported the team both at home and away, witnessing both good times and bad. I have never felt so alienated from my club. I have no desire to attend matches in person, nor do I want to spend my hard-earned money on them.
