[Saba Sports News] According to UK media reports, Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish was penalized for speeding last September, resulting in a 3-point deduction and a fine of £1,520. Dalglish’s speeding violation occurred on September 21, 2025, at 2:09 PM, when he was driving a silver Mercedes at 30 miles per hour on Little Crosby Road. The speed limit for that section of road is 20 miles per hour, as it passes through Little Crosby village. The 74-year-old was caught speeding by a speed camera in Crosby last September and was prosecuted by Merseyside Police. Merseyside Police’s road safety manager, Kevin Scott, informed the court in a statement: “On September 24, 2025, we sent a notice of intended prosecution and a request for driver details to the registered owner Kenneth Dalglish via prepaid first-class mail in accordance with Section 172 of the Road Traffic Act 1988… but he failed to comply with the requirements of Section 172.” Dalglish later admitted to the speeding offense and was sentenced last Monday. District Judge Sylvia Yang imposed a 3-point deduction on his license and ordered him to pay a £1,000 fine, £120 in court costs, and a £400 victim surcharge.
