[Saba Sports News] Recently, RB Leipzig officially announced the loan signing of 21-year-old winger Brajan Gruda from Brighton. According to German media reports, Gruda did not fly but drove 11 hours from England to Germany for a medical examination. It was reported that Gruda set out from southern England for a total journey of 1,052 kilometers, and he made the trip accompanied by two friends. They left suddenly on Saturday evening, passing through the Channel Tunnel, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and arrived in Saxony on Sunday morning.
Gruda underwent his medical examination in the afternoon and signed the contract shortly thereafter. At just 21 years old, Gruda is a German right winger whose contract with Brighton will expire in June 2028. So far this season, Gruda has participated in 20 matches across all competitions, contributing 3 goals and 3 assists, and his market value is currently estimated at €28 million.
Gruda stated, “I feel in great physical shape, and I already know many of my new teammates from the national team and Bundesliga. I want to help RB Leipzig return to European competitions.”
