[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, on the 10th anniversary of the passing of Johan Cruyff, the documentary Cruyff held its global premiere in Amsterdam. March 24 marks the 10th anniversary of Johan Cruyff’s death. Local time this Saturday, a grand event was held at the Johan Cruyff Arena, home of Ajax, for the global premiere of the documentary series Cruyff. This is a documentary centered on Cruyff himself, attempting to explain on multiple levels why this Dutch legend continues to influence Barcelona through his football philosophy and spiritual legacy years after his death. Joan Laporta was one of the most high-profile guests at the premiere. He not only traveled to Amsterdam to attend the event but is also one of the interviewees featured in the documentary.
The editor believes that it is hoped that these precious materials can fully restore Cruyff’s multiple identities as a player, a coach, and a shaper of football philosophy. Each episode of the documentary runs approximately 45 minutes and features never-before-seen footage, exclusive audio recordings of Cruyff recounting his life experiences, as well as exclusive interviews with many of those who knew him best.
