[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, to mark the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada, Panini America is preparing to launch the largest sticker album in its history. The collection will feature around 980 stickers, an unprecedented number since the company began producing World Cup sticker albums in 1970.
The company has confirmed that 2026 World Cup-related products are now available for pre-order on the official Panini website, with general retail launch scheduled for May 15, 2026 — just a few weeks before the tournament begins. The new sticker album has 112 pages and contains nearly 1,000 stickers, driven by the new World Cup format. For the first time, the tournament will bring together 48 national teams competing in 104 matches. In addition to player stickers, it will also include information about the stadiums and host cities. One of the highlights is the return of ‘extra stickers’ — parallel stickers showing players in action during matches, with no numbered slots in the album.
The editor believes that Panini’s limited production run will make these highly sought-after items among collectors. The physical collection will coexist with a digital edition featuring new interactive elements. The company is working to coordinate a simultaneous launch in more than 120 countries to avoid the logistical issues that have affected previous releases.
