Sports News] Aston Villa’s men’s and women’s football players have expressed
complaints about their jerseys this season, as they quickly become damp and
cling to their bodies during matches. This issue has had an impact on the
players’ performance on the field, as the jerseys feel heavy and uncomfortable
when wet. Additionally, during the hotter months, sweat causes the jerseys to
become noticeably dark, highlighting the moisture problem. The brand Castore
has identified the BK8 sponsor logo on the jerseys as the main culprit behind
the issues. Last week, Castore delivered new jerseys to Aston Villa. However,
the players have not worn the new kits in the past two games and are expected
to continue using the old jerseys in the next two matches. Regardless of
whether the problem is resolved, Aston Villa plan to terminate their
partnership with Castore early. Despite the kit issues, Aston Villa have been
performing impressively, currently holding the third position in the Premier
League standings.
