June 2, 2026 Ghana’s national football team led by head coach Queiroz unveiled its final 26-player roster for the 2026 World Cup in Canada, USA and Mexico on June 2 Beijing time. Top players including Thomas, Inaki Williams, Semenyo, Jordan Ayew and Sulamana are all selected.

This marks Ghana’s fifth World Cup finals appearance. The country’s best World Cup result came in the 2010 South Africa World Cup where they advanced to quarter-finals. In its previous four World Cup participations, Ghana got Round of 16, quarter-final and two group-stage exits respectively.

Drawn in Group L, Ghana shares the group with England, Croatia and Panama. Top two from each group qualify directly for knockout rounds, plus eight best third-placed teams across all eight groups also earn knockout spots. Ghana will play Croatia, Panama and England sequentially in group matches to fight for qualification.
