[Saba Sports News] Jordan Adams scored 49 points in his first game back with San Miguel Beer in a 139-127 win over Phoenix Super LPG, This PBA Governor’s Cup victory played out at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Adams was replaced by Sheldon Mac in the previous game, but this time he quickly proved his place, leading the team to build multiple 20-point leads to give SAN Miguel two straight wins and a 5-2 record in Group B.
“The most important thing is we won the game, and I just played hard and got the win for my teammates,” Adams said. He not only scored 49 points, but also grabbed 11 rebounds and three assists. He also made two four-pointers in the game.
Jorge Gallent, the coach after the victory, was pleased with Adams’ performance, but mentioned that the attempt to give Sheldon Mack a try-out was necessary.
“We talked to Jordan and we just wanted to try other players,” explained Gallent.
