(SabaSports) Arsenal made a successful start to the 2024-25 Premier League season with a 2-0 home win over Wolves. Despite some controversy over refereing decisions in the game, Arsenal secured victory with Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka firing through each other.
Arsenal again lost the title race to Manchester City last season, but the team’s overall performance still gives fans hope for the future. Under manager Mikel Arteta, Arsenal continue their assault on the Premier League title in the new season.
In the opening game, Arteta still used a 4-3-3 formation. David Raya, the starting goalkeeper, was in goal, The defence consisted of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba and Ben White. The central midfielder, Thomas Partey, was in the centre, with Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard on either side. The trident is led by Hafts, Gabriel Martinelli and Saka.
