(sabasports report)France have qualified for the last eight of the European Championship with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Belgium. In his post-match press conference, Didier Deschamps was asked about Kylian Mbappe wearing a mask. Mr. Deschamps said Mr. Mbappe might need to wear a mask for several months.

On Mbappe’s adaptation to the mask, Deschamps said: “He is adapting. The important thing is that he is recovering every day. Although he wiped his sweat from time to time, it still bothered him a bit. On the visual side, he told me that he had a sense of seeing 3D images, even if it was only for a tenth of a second. Frontal vision is fine, but lateral vision is less clear. He had to get used to it because he had to wear it for weeks or even months for protection.”
