Hansi Flick will arrive in Barcelona on Monday to sign on as the club’s new coach, according to plans unveiled by the club on Friday, the World Cup said. The club will officially announce the appointment on Monday after Xavier‘s last game in charge.
Hansi Flick, 59, will be joined at Barcelona by two of his former German internationals, Joshua Kimmich and Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Robert Lewandowski, with whom he won six titles with Bayern in 2020, were reunited.
Barca have not yet planned a press conference for Hansi Flick, and it is not known what format they will choose to introduce him. Hansi Flick will sign a two-year contract with the team.
