“I don’t think it’s going to affect anything,” Kerr said. I think we have a good relationship with the league and a deep respect for the rules that are in place. We understand that the league is trying to make basketball fans around the world happy, and that’s our job. We want to put on a good show and give our fans a chance to watch our players play.”

Kerr then said, “You know, injuries are a part of the game and there are going to be games that players miss, but we plan to follow the league’s rules and give NBA fans around the world as many opportunities as possible to watch our players play.” The NBA Board of Governors approved a new policy that a team cannot rest two star players in the same game, and the Warriors met the requirements of the new rule with four stars (defined as a star player who has been an All-Star/All-NBA team in the past three seasons) : Curry, Draymond Green, Paul, and Wiggins.
