(sabasports report)According to Italian media outlet Il Giornador, Lazio will compete with Juventus for Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood and are willing to add Greek goalkeeper Ivan Mantas to the deal. With Felipe Anderson out and Ciro Immobile out of form, Lazio are looking to strengthen their front line this summer and are eyeing Greenwood. The Manchester United striker excelled on loan at Getafe last season, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists. In fact, he was courted by Lazio last summer.

Lazio have made an offer of 18 million euros plus a 50% share of future transfers to United, but that is still a bit short of United’s asking price. If the offer is rejected, Lazio are expected to propose that Mandaas be part of the deal. The Greek goalkeeper has attracted interest from many teams, and even Manchester City are willing to spend 12 million euros to sign him.
The Biancoceleste are looking to add Greenwood to their front line to fill the gap left by Felipe and to cope with the slump in Mobiele’s form. At the same time, the addition of Mandas could increase the attractiveness of the deal, thus improving Lazio’s chances of success in bringing in Greenwood.
