(sabasports report) The NBA playoffs continue as the Dallas Mavericks rally at home to save a game point. The Mavericks beat the Boston Celtics 122-84 to drop to 1-3 overall. Game 5 of the finals will return to Boston.
Luka Dončić had a strong performance for the Mavericks, finishing with 29 points, five rebounds and five assists. Kyrie Irving added 21 points, four rebounds and six assists to lead the team that built a big lead in the first three quarters. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 15 points, Derek Lively II added 11 points and 12 rebounds, and Dante Exum added 10 points.
Jayson Tatum had 15 points and five rebounds for the Celtics, Sam Hauser contributed 14 points and four rebounds, Payton Pritchard scored 11 points, and the Celtics got a boost from the game. Jrue Holiday and Jaylen Brown added 10 points each.
The Lone Ranger team showed strong offensive and defensive strength in this game, successfully avoided being swept, for the next game for more opportunities. Game 5 will be home for the Celtics, who will try to defend home-court advantage and try to end the series as soon as possible. The Mavericks hope to continue the good form of this game and continue to fight in the finals.
