[Saba Sports News] DeMar DeRozan is one of the top free agents, and the Sacramento Kings have emerged as a potential landing spot.
The Kings are interested in adding DeRozan, with ESPN’s Marc J. Spears calling them a “dark horse” team. The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson reported that the Kings have discussed a sign-and-trade deal with the Bulls for DeRozan. DeRozan, who earned an average of $27.3 million per season with the Chicago Bulls, could be traded in a deal with matching salaries, possibly involving Kevin Huerter, who is set to make $16.8 million next season.
Last season, the 34-year-old DeRozan averaged 24.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game for Chicago.
