[Saba Sports News] With F1 set to undergo a new round of major technical rule changes in 2026, Ferrari is making personnel moves to lay the foundation for the new era. This week, Ferrari officially welcomed an important technical member while also confirming the continuation and upgrade of several core technical collaborations. This demonstrates the team’s clear vision and long-term planning on the eve of regulatory changes.
French engineer Guillaume De Zutter, from Red Bull’s junior team, has officially joined Ferrari and began working in Maranello this week. He has spent many years with Red Bull’s junior team, recently serving as the head of vehicle performance, and is an experienced technical backbone within the team. De Zutter confirmed his departure on social media, expressing gratitude for the development he received over the years within the Red Bull system. He will now serve as the performance operations director at Ferrari, further strengthening the technical management team.
In Ferrari’s technical structure, De Zutter will report to the track engineering director and collaborate more closely with technical director Loic Serra and racing director Diego Ioverno, among others. In my opinion, as the complexity of the 2026 cars increases in terms of aerodynamics, power systems, and overall performance, this personnel adjustment will be a key step for Ferrari in enhancing execution and stability.
