[Saba Sports News] Malaysian badminton star Aaron Chia Teng Fong recently participated in a meaningful public welfare activity called the Life Education Training Camp. Aaron took part in the event and encouraged children and his wife to practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) training together. The purpose of the event is to promote emergency awareness among people. Aaron said: “The Life Education Training Camp is not just about skill training, but also about a way of life and a sense of responsibility towards others. The popularization of CPR and AED is a gentle revolution that our society urgently needs.” Aaron is a Malaysian men’s doubles badminton player, partnered with Soh Wooi Yik. He began to make a name for himself from 2018, reaching the final of the SaarLor Open. He won the runner-up at the 2019 All England Open Men’s Doubles, and the gold medal at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games Men’s Doubles. He won the bronze medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and 2024 Paris Olympics in Men’s Doubles. He won the World Championship Men’s Doubles title in 2022, the Denmark Open Men’s Doubles in 2023, and the Asian Badminton Championships Men’s Doubles in 2025. He is currently ranked second in the world in Men’s Doubles.
