In the final, she swept past world number two Wang Zhi Yi 2-0, even delivering a 21-5 dominant performance in the first game and reversing a large deficit to win the second game 24-22. After the Denmark Open, An Se Young immediately traveled to France to continue competing. She will challenge for her third individual French Open title (having won in 2019 and 2024) and her ninth title of the 2025 season. It is worth mentioning that An Se Young has become the first badminton player to have won all existing 4 S1000 tournaments, 6 S750 tournaments, and the World Tour Finals. According to South Korean media reports, as An Se Young accumulates more ranking points, her income continues to grow. This year, she has participated in 12 international tournaments, winning 8 titles, including 3 S1000+ major events and 4 S750+ events. She has already earned $655,500 in prize money this year, with her career total prize money reaching $2,168,410, approximately 3.06 billion Korean Won. Since January 2025, An Se Young has consecutively won 8 titles: the Malaysia Open, India Open, Orleans Masters, All England Open, Indonesia Open, Japan Open, China Masters, and Denmark Open.
