[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, 19-year-old Chelsea winger Angelo Gabriel has officially joined Al-Nassr. It is reported that Angelo’s transfer fee is €23 million plus additional clauses for future transfers. Notably, Angelo has yet to play a competitive match for Chelsea. On July 17, 2023, Chelsea signed 18-year-old Angelo from Santos for €15 million. After joining Chelsea, Angelo participated in preseason matches and came off the bench in 3 out of 5 games. On August 9 of the same year, Chelsea loaned Angelo to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg for a season. In the 2023/24 season, Angelo played 25 matches for Strasbourg, starting 15 times and providing 4 assists. In the summer of 2024, Angelo ended his loan and returned to Chelsea, participating in preseason matches where he came off the bench in 3 out of 6 games. On September 3 of the same year, Chelsea sold Angelo to Al-Nassr for €23 million. In other words, after bringing in Angelo and loaning him out for a year, Chelsea made a profit of €8 million.
