[Saba Sports News] According to British media, Gareth Bale went to a bar to watch a Cardiff City match last week and enjoyed Indian cuisine. The Welsh legend visited the Gleniffer Hotel in Perthshire’s Auchterarder and savoring chicken curry prepared by chef Mandip Seni, who previously worked at the world-famous Gleneagles Hotel and received wide acclaim. It is said that Bale was very satisfied with the experience and returned with his friends the next night, continuing to enjoy the football and curry feast. He also managed to see his hometown team Cardiff City defeat Swindon 2-1. Bale retired from his illustrious career two years ago, during which he won five Champions Leagues with Real Madrid and played 111 matches for the national team. His down-to-earth charm has delighted local residents, as he not only took photos with fans but also signed autographs. The bar manager told the media: “We guess they probably stayed at the nearby Gleneagles Hotel, but they came to our place for two nights in a row. He and a few friends arrived around 6 p.m. and specifically chose the spot directly in front of the big screen to watch the game – the best viewing angle in the whole place. They enjoyed the meal prepared by chef Mandip, whose cooking still maintains the standard he had at Gleneagles. Obviously, the experience was very enjoyable. When we saw them come in again on Tuesday night, we couldn’t believe it. Bale is so cute, polite, and approachable.”
